GARRATTSVILLE---Kenneth Arthur Harrington, 58, died July 18 at his home, New Berlin RD3, after a two month illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Houk-Johnston Funeral Home, Edmeston, with the Rev. Wilfred Lyon, pastor of Garrattsville Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Edmeston Union Cemetery.

Mr. Harrington was born in the Town of New Lisbon June 11, 1909 son of Arthur and Ida (Gardner) Harrington. He married Viola Richards Sept. 20, 1930.

He was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Garrattsville Methodist Church, the Farm Bureau and Eastern Milk Producers Cooperative Association.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Madeline Daniels, New Berlin; Mrs. Eva Joy, New Lisbon; Mrs. Hilda Bowen, Edmeston; Miss Donna Harrington, at home; four sons, George of New Lisbon; Roy of Governeur; Gary and Ray, at home; a sister, Mrs. Glenn Chase, Garrattsville; ten grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
