Mrs. Isabel Jackson Dies

At Home in Garrattsville.

Garrattsville, Feb. 28.---Mrs. Isabel Jackson, aged 73, widow of the late Amasa Jackson, died at the home of her son, W. H. Jackson, at Garrattsville, Friday afternoon from complications of diseases.
The funeral will be held monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in the Brick Schoolhouse cemetery.
For many years Mrs. Jackson had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of that community. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. A. Hickling and Mrs. W. S. Garlock, both of Garrattsville; two sons, A. E. Jackson of Oneonta, and the son above mentioned; also several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was the second wife of Amasa Jackson 1842-1923 and they had 3 children:
Arthur Earl Jackson 1880-1940 married Georgianna Mead 1889-1979
Elizabeth Ann Jackson 1881-1940 married Clarence Albert Hickling 1882-1948
Willis Henry Jackson 1890-1966 married Harriet Bunn 1892-1972
The second daughter mentioned would have been Ivah L. Jackson Gregory 1874-1959 who was first married to William S. Garlock and secondly married to Dorr M. Gregory She was the daughter of Amasa's first wife, Mary Hannah Gregory.  

At Butternut Valley Cemetery, Otsego County, NY,  many of these folks are
listed on Find a Grave.
