Carl L. Garlock
Carl
L. Garlock, 91, formerly of Manlius and Skaneateles, died Friday at a
local nursing home after a long illness.
Mr. Garlock
resided in Wisconsin where he was employed by the Nestle Co. and
later affiliated with Grindrod Process Co. of Waukesha, Wis. Mr.
Garlock also was an employee of the Borden Co.
Instrumental in
the original operations of the Donald Duck Concentrated Orange Juice
Plant in Florida, he became regional manager for the Borden Co.'s
Syracuse office until his retirement in 1960.
Mr. Garlock was
a member of Royal Arts Masons, Manlius, Chapter 72.
He is surived
by his wife, Lucille S. of Skaneateles; a step-daughter, Viola
Hodgins of Racine, Wis.; two stepsons, Roland Nass of Manlius and
Drew Silvieus of Ohio; a sister, Katherine Garlock of Otsego; and one
brother, Albert of Newport; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
and two nephews.
Private
services will be at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Dr.
Alexander C. Carmichel officiating.
There will be
no calling hours.
Burial will be
in Manlius Village Cemetery.
Contributions
may be made to the Royal Arts Masons #72, Manlius, or the Skaneateles
Area Volunteer Emergency Services.

Addendum: He was
born to William and Ivah L. Jackson Garlock. William died 1938 and
Ivah was born 1874 and died 1969.
