The
death of Mrs. Grace Hull occurred Sunday, January 19, 1936 at the
home of her son, Andy Hull of Burlington.
Grace Rose was born in the
town of Richfield, May 22, 1859, a daughter of Alexander and
Charlotte Burke Rose. In early childhood she moved with her parents
to a farm near West Exeter. In 1877 she was united in marriage to
Rovello Hull. Their married life was spent in this locality with the
exception of a few early years in the middle west. About fifteen
years ago they purchased a home in West Burlington, where Mr. Hull
passed away in June, 1925.
Mrs. Hull was a member of the
M. E. Church at West Burlington, where she was a regular attendant
and faithful worker as long as health permitted.
She leaves to mourn her
passing four sons: Harry of Garrattsville, Lee of Edmeston, Ray of
Burlington Flats, Andy of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Harold
Bolton of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Davis of West Exeter
and Mrs. Ann Bliss of Osseo, Wisconsin; and several grand children
and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held
from the M. E. church at West Burlington on Wednesday at 1:30, the
Rev. L. A. Weed officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, Edmeston.
