Margaret McClenaghan Woodrow, 95, 20 Jefferson
Avenue, died Saturday, January 20 at her home following a brief
illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday,
January 22 at the Lewis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene B.
Umberger, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westville Cemetery, Westville.
She was born February 2, 1872 in Ballykeel, County
Downs, Ireland, the daughter of William and Sarah (Hanna)
McClenaghan. She was married to William Henry Woodrow on Sept. 8,
1896 in Hastings-on-the Hudson. He died in 1951. She was a member
of the Milford Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Grace
Stickles, Mrs. Beulah Schempf and Mrs. Ethyl Kirkpatirck, all of
Oneonta, Mrs. Sally Collins of Milford and Miss Ruth Woodrow of
Binghamton; a son, William R. of Orlando, Florida; eight
grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Friends may call at the Lewis Funeral Home at their
convenience until service time.
