CHARLES G. DOOLITTLE

Charles G. Doolittle, a former resident of Edmeston, died suddenly at Greene, N. Y., Monday, February 4, 1935.
Mr. Doolittle was born September 7, 1874, at the Doolittle homestead on the New Berlin road, the son of Charles and Mary Goodrich Doolittle. He attended school at Edmeston and the Albany Businees College. During the Spanish-American war he was a member of Company F, 3rd Indiana Volunteers and spent the summer at military camps at Tampa and Fernandina, Florida.
On June 2, 1902, he was married to Jessie M. Thayer of Pittsfield who died August 1, 1932.
Surviving are a son, Robert Doolittle of Poughkeepsie and two sisters, Mrs. R. E. VanCise of Sidney and Mrs. Charles Telford of Edmeston.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 7, from St. Andrews Church in New Berlin of which he was a member. Interment was made in New Berlin.
