Mrs. Addie Badger,
Gilbertsville, Dies

Gilbertsville---Mrs. Addie Badger, widow of Sprague Badger, died Saturday night after several weeks illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 at Moors funeral parlors with Rev. Frederick Evenson, Episcopal rector, officiating in the absence of a Presbyterain minister. Interment will be in Brookside cemetery.
Mrs. Badger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Burlingame, had spent all her life in this vicinity. After the death of Mr. Badger, she sold their home and moved to the village where she and her daughter Helen lived. After the latter married Maurice Joslin and moved to Utica, Mrs. Badger moved to Mt. Vision to live with her brother, Lee Burlingame.
Surviving beside the brother and daughter are a grandson, Larry Joslin, Utica, a step-daughter, Ada, and a step-son, Raymond.
A member of the Presbyterian church and of the WRC, she was known and loved by many for her cheerful disposition.

Addendum: Addie was born 1868 to Otis and Helen (Miner) Burlingame and died February 5, 1944. She married Sprague Badger in 1900. Her husband was married three times. Her step-daughter Ada was the daughter of his first wife Christina and her step-son Raymond was the son of his second wife, Ida Bell Herrick Badger.
