Renwick of Hartwick Dies Suddenly at His Home
Harwick, March 11---Walter Renwick, 75 years old, a
highly respected citizen of Hartwick, died suddenly this morning from
heart trouble at his home on the old Wells homestead on East Hill,
where he had lived for the last 27 years.
Funeral services will be held at the home of his
brother-in-law, Harvey Wells, in the village of Hartwick. Rev. Frank
V. Thomas, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church at Mt. Vision,
will officiate. The body will be placed in the vault at Hartwick
Seminary to await burial this spring.
The deceased was born in Scotland in 1855 and came to
America when four years old, locating in Burlington, where he lived
up to the time he moved to Hartwick about 27 years ago. He is
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Silas Mead of Mt. Vision, and a son,
Walter Renwick of Hartford, besides several grandchildren. Both his
wife and his oldest son died about five months ago.

Funeral at Milford
Hartwick, March 12---The funeral of Walter Renwick
will be held at 1:30 p. m., Friday, from the home of his
brother-in-law, Harvey Wells of Milford village. Rev. Frank Thomas,
pastor of the Mt. Vision Methodist Episcopal church, will have charge
of the service.
