New Berlin, Dec. 30---The death of Benton C. House

Born in the town of Springfield, he was the second son of the late

in marriage to Abbie M. Rood, who survives him. He also leaves one
brother, C. E. House of New Berlin, and two sisters, Mrs. S. B.

Mr. House had been a contractor and builder for over
50 years and had erected many fine buildings, one being the Opera

in the city of Oneonta, building one there the past summer. Always
