West Laurens, May 19---Miss Elizabeth Boyle,
daughter of Professor and Mrs. James E. Boyle of Ithaca, and Dr.
Arthur Bartlett Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Truman I. Rogers of West
Laurens, were married Monday at 6 o'clock at the Episcopal church of
St. Matthew, San Mateo, Cal.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Frederick M.
Crane. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Leo R. Zerbe of South San
Francisco. A wedding supper was served the bridal party and guests
after the ceremony.
Among the guests were Mrs. James E. Boyle, mother of
the bride; Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Spindler of South San Francisco; Dr.
and Mrs. Peter J. Cass of Burlingame, Cal.; Mrs. William Lytle and
her daughter, Miss Flora Belle Lytle, of Highland, Cal.
The bride is a graduate of Vassar college,
Poughkeepsie. Dr. Rogers was graduated from the New York State
Veterinary college at Cornell university, Ithaca, and is a member of
Alpha Psi fraternity. He is at present associated with the United
States bureau of Animal Industry at the San Francisco station.
The community will unite in wishing the young couple
congratulations.
