Friday at Home
Edmeston, May 4---George Everett Parker, Youngest
son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Parker of Edmeston, died at the family
home in this township at 11:50 p. m., Tuesday. The deceased had been
an invalid for several years and his demise, though greatly deplored,
was not unexpected.
The funeral services will be held at the family home
on Friday at 2 p. m.
Rev. J. F. Weinhauer, pastor of the Edmeston Baptist
church, will officiate and interment will be in the family plot in
the Union cemetery in this village. The deceased, who was ten years
of age, is survived by his parents; by a brother and sister, Warren
and Ada residing at home, and by three other sisters, Mrs. Curtis
Ackerman of West Burlington, Mrs. Glenn Tilley of Mt. Vision, and
Mrs. Gils Nichols of Ithaca. Other immediate relatives are several
uncles and aunts, among them Frank and Robert Pashley and Mrs. Julia
Hanor of Oneonta.
To all members of the family, who through the years
of his illness, had given utmost devotion and care to one who had
personally been most patient and uncomplaining, the heartfelt
sympathy of their many friends, is extended.
