of Morris Resident Takes Bride
in
Ceremony at Waterville
Morris, July 8---Miss Elizabeth Jackson of
Waterville and George Vincent Shields, second son of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Shields of Morris were married at the Catholic rectory in
Waterville Wednesday morning, July 1, at 9 o'clock. They were
attended by Mrs. Edward Mannion of Waterville, sister of the bride,
and Lyle Shields of Boston, brother of the groom.
Immediately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs.
Shields left on a wedding trip through the New England states. They
will spend the summer in camp at Gilbert lake attended by the best
wishes of their many friends.
Mr. Shields, a graduate of Colgate university, is
principal of the South Edmeston school. Mrs. Shields has been an
instructor in the Waterville school.
