Saturday
New
Lisbon---Funeral services for
Lee F. Myers, who committed suicide in his home at Garrattsville
Wednesday morning, will be held at Patterson Funeral Home at Hartwick
at 2 p. m. Saturday.
The
Rev. Samuel Little, pastor of Garrattsville Methodist Church and the
Rev. B. E. Myers, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, will
officiate.
Masonic services will be held at 8 tonight at the
funeral home. Burial will be in Hillington Cemetery, Morris.
Mr.
Myers was born in New Lisbon June 25, 1898, son of George B. and
Della (Harrington) Myers. He married Emily M. Cummings of
Garrattsville June 14, 1922.
The
family lived on a farm here until about a year ago, when they sold
the farm and moved to Garrattsville, where Mr. Myers and his son,
Robert, purchased a store.
He
was a member of the Methodist church, the Masonic Lodge of Morris,
Garrattsville Community Club and the Butternuts Valley Rod and Gun
Club.
Besides his wife he is survived by the son, Robert.

Lee F. Myers, who died Wednesday at his home at Garrattsville, were
held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Patterson Funeral Home, Hartwick. More
than 200 relatives and friends attended.
The
Rev. Samuel Little, Morris, and the Rev. B. E. Myers, Garrattsville,
officiated. Burial was in the family plot at Hillington Cemetery,
Morris.
Bearers were Roy Gilbert, Goerge Dockstader, William
Dockstader, Glenn Dockstader, J. Edward Lunn, Howard Lunn,
Kenneth Harrington, and Ray Card, all of whom were cousins of Mr.
Myers.
Relatives and friends attended from Rensselaer,
Niverville, Kinderhook, Quaker Street, Schenectady;, Morris, New
Lisbon, Garrattsviulle, Oneonta, Burlington Flats, Edmeston,
Unadilla, Gilbertsville, Burlington, Delanson, Mount Vision and
Hartwick.
