From Census research information, I deduct that she was born in 1865 in NY State. Her parents appear to be Sedrick and Mary Lamphere. In 1870, they lived in Middlefield, NY. Various census list her as born in Canada or NY. Her father was listed as a Cooper. They had 2 children, Adelbert 8, and Martha 6 years old. A Zalmon Lamphere aged 67 with his family, also listed as a cooper, lived in an adjoining household.
