Marion Roseboom
MORRIS — Marion E. Roseboom, 83, of Maple Grove, Morris, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at A.O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta.
She was born March 7, 1917, in Morris, the daughter of William George Emerson and Beatrice M. (Andrews) Emerson.
She was married to Leon Miles Roseboom on Aug. 9, 1934, in West Oneonta. He passed away several years ago.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Sand Hill Methodist Church, the Sand Hill Senior Citizens Club and the Homemaker Club of Sand Hill.
She is survived by three children, Wayne Roseboom of Oneonta, Morgan Roseboom and his wife, Diana, of Oneonta, and Bonnie Hilliker of Oneonta; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by two sisters-in- law, Edna Emerson of Sidney and Alma Strong of Westford.
She was predeceased by a brother, Maynard Emerson, and a brother-in-law, James Strong.
It was Marion's request that no funeral services or calling hours be held.
Interment of her cremains will be in Hillington Cemetery, Morris.
Arrangements are by the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris.
