Anna Tkaczow
MORRIS — Anna Tkaczow, 78, of Morris, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at the home of her son, Patrick, in Rochester.She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Scranton, Pa., the daughter of Peter and Mary (Lojack) Witkowicz.
She was married to Michael Tkaczow in 1936.
She had been employed in the Morris Central School cafeteria staff as a dishwasher and before that she and her husband operated the family dairy farm.
She had resided in the Butternuts Valley her entire adult life.
She was as member of the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church and was an avid supporter of the Morris Central School activities and programs.
Anna is survived by a son, Patrick Tkaczow, and his wife, Ann, of Rochester; a brother, Emil Witkowicz, and his wife, Katie, of Rochester; and a sister, Wanda Hryniw, and her husband, John, of Sun City West, Ariz. Her grandchildren include, Dianna, Amanda and Cassandra. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at the Holy Cross Church in Morris at 1 p.m., with the Rev. John R. Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillington Cemetery in Morris.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are by the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris.
