Webster, Rose B. (Lull) 1890-1955 Garrattsville NY Obituary

MRS. ROSE B. WEBSTER

Mrs. Rose B. Webster, aged 65, died in Fox Hospital, Saturday (Dec. 3, 1955) following a heart attack.
She was born Nov. 5, 1890, in the Town of Morris, daughter of Sylvester and Emma (Swartout) Lull. She was twice married. Her first husband, Lasalle Brimmer, died in 1940. In March 1944, she married Merle Webster.
Mrs. Webster had resided in Garrattsville 33 years, and had been Town Clerk for the Town of New Lisbon for six years. She was correspondent for four area newspapers including The Freeman's Journal and The Otsego Farmer, Cooperstown, and had been an employee of the Garrattsville postoffice.
She was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church, and its women's organization and the Home Bureau.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Wilson of Garrattsville and Mrs. Walter Krous of Greene; one son, Albert Brimmer of Garrattsville; one sister, Mrs. Richard Walker of Granville, Ohio; one niece, Mrs. William Blanchard of Edmeston; one nephew, Leonard Hammond of South Kortright and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday in the United Presbyterian Church, Garrattsville, with the Rev. J. Ross McCloy, officiating. The body was placed in Hillington Cemetery vault for later burial in Morris.
