Hickling, Addie C. 1861-1934 Edmeston Obituary

Mrs. Addie C. Hickling

Mrs. Addie C. Hickling, whose death was briefly noted in Wednesday's issue of The Star, passed away Monday evening at her home in Edmeston, after an illness of nearly three months. She was born November 21, 1861, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dorr Colegrove, and her entire life was spent in this vicinity.
She was a member of the Second Baptist church of Edmeston, was a loyal Christian and a devoted mother.
September 23, 1879, she was united in marriage with Frederick Hickling, who survives with three sons, Murray, of Greeley, Col., and Guy and Dorr of Edmeston, two daughters, Rosemond and Susan of Edmeston, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon and burial was in the Union cemetery at Edmeston.
