Morris, Jan. 10—Announcement has been received here of the
marriage Saturday of Miss Myranette Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Wood of Sidney, to Charles H. Carpenter of Sidney. Mrs.
Carpenter formerly resided in Morris where she made many friends, all
of whom will extend best wishes for future happiness.
On the 1940 census: Charles was 36 years of age and his occupation
was listed as
State Trooper with the State Police. Myraette was 30 years of age.
No children were listed.
On the 1920 census: She is listed as the 10 year old daughter of
George and Lillian Wood in Morris, NY. A 13 year old brother Clausen
is also listed.
On the 1930 census: Myraette is listed as 20 and living with her parents
George A. and Lillian M. Wood in Sidney, NY. Her father's occupation
is listed as electrician, and Myraette's is listed as bookkeeper at
a bank.
