Eva Ferguson


MORRIS — Eva Lenora (Barber) Ferguson, 93, of Morris, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at the Chase Nursing Home in New Berlin.
She was born March 25, 1907, in Manlius, the daughter of Frank and Ellen (Roscoe) Barber.
She married the late Glenn Ferguson on Aug. 7, 1926. He died July 23, 1991.
She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and was loved dearly. Her greatest joy was to cook and bake for her family. She loved to garden and had a great appreciation of music. She was a member of the Morris Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Paul (Pauline) McQue of Fairport, Mrs. Richard (Rusty) Klotzbach of Spencerport, Mrs. Richard (Evelyn) Sevor of Palmyra, Mrs. Earl (Bernice) Edwards of Macedon and Mrs. Robert. (Judith) Hand of Morris; and one son, Reginald Ferguson of Morris
Twenty-three grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren also survive her.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Elizabeth Harris and Margaret Hanvey; a son, Theodore Ferguson; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Ferguson.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 10, 2000, at 2 p.m. in the Morris Baptist Church in Morris with the Rev. J. Mark Norlund officiating.
Burial will be at the Hillington Cemetery in Morris.
There will be no calling hours and those who wish are asked to contribute to the Catskill Area Hospice in her memory.
Funeral arrangements are by the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris.
