FRESNO, Calif. — Catherine "Patty" Donlin Eldred passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at the age of 75.
Catherine was born in Oneonta, N.Y., attended the Benedictine Nursing School in Kingston, N.Y., and worked as a registered nurse. She was employed by Homerfolks Tuberculosis Hospital and Broome County (N.Y.) General Hospital.
She lived in Oneonta until 1960 and in upstate New York until 1977, when she moved to California. She lived in Fresno for the past year.
Catherine is survived by three children: Nancy Dunkly, a homemaker and church pianist, of Elk Grove, Calif., her husband, Doug, and their two children; Robert Eldred, a financial planner, of San Francisco; and Steven Eldred, an attorney, of Fresno, his wife, Janine, and their two sons. She is survived by her ex-husband, John Eldred of San Jose; her brothers, Martin Donlin and his wife, Marge, and George Donlin, and their children, both of Oneonta.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, John Donlin.
The family would like to thank the staff at Horizon Health and Sub-Acute Center and the St. Agnes Hospice, especially Debbie Baker, R.N., for their compassionate care and support.
Remembrances may be made to any local hospice program in Catherine's memory.
