Harriet Dvoracek
MORRIS — Harriet R. Dvoracek, 70, of Morris died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999. She was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Rockville Center, the daughter of Harry Nacken and Augusta (Grace) Nacken.
She was married to Joseph Robert Dvoracek on June 25, 1962, in Baltimore, Md. He died on May 10, 1997.
For several years she was employed as the parts manager at Ferguson Auto Supply and then at Otsego Automotive, both of Oneonta. More recently, she had worked as a nurse's aid doing home care in the Morris and Oneonta area.
She was very active in the Lions Club of Oneonta and had also served as a volunteer at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.
Harriet is survived by her children, John Dvoracek of Allentown, Pa., Jeanette Cotter and her husband, Luke, of New Berlin, Leonard Keushgarian of Mount Vision, Joseph Robert Dvoracek and his wife, Dory, of Gilbertsville; her grandchildren, Robert and Jennifer Dvoracek of Allentown, Pa., Ryan, Marissa and Nicole Cotter of New Berlin, James Dvoracek of New Berlin, Donna Zinn of Washington, D.C., Robert Hazlett of Treadwell, Penny Desalle of Virginia Beach, Va., Larry Keesler of Albany, Kris Keushgarian of Chicago, Ill.; and great-grandchildren Vincent Desalle, Kayla and Danielle Zinn. She is also survived by a sister, Dee Stafford, of Indianapolis, Ind.
She was predeceased by a son, Larry Keushgarian, and a daughter, Lynda Ames.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999, at 2 p.m. at the Johnston Funeral Home in Morris, with the Rev. J. Mark Norlund officiating. Committal service and burial will be in the Hillington Cemetery in Morris. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
