ATTENDS FUNERAL

Miss Mary Boice has returned from New Berlin where she attended the funeral of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Zeland Boice and her infant son,

Funeral services for the mother and child were held Sunday at the Garrattsvile Methodist Church with burial in Hillington Cemetery at Morris.

Mrs. Boice is survived by her husband, two sons and a daughter. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Kirby and a sister, Mrs. Allaby, arrived from their home in New Hope, Ala., for the services. They visited in Sidney on Wednesday on their way back south. Another sister and two brothers of Alabama also survive.

PS: Rosa Lee (or may be Rosie Lee) was the wife of Zeland Peter Boice and the mother of Zeland Samuel Boice and William Frank Boice which are the next 3 Obituaries listed under Boice.

Her other children were Verna Mae (Candee) Boice Hasbrouck and Jay Arthur Boice.  She died with Jay Arthur's birth and he didn't survive either.  Candee has lived in Morris for many years.

Poque, not Allaby as listed in the obituary above.  There is also a Find a Grave Memorial for her. She is buried at Hillington Cemetery, Otsego County, NY.   She was my aunt.  Donna Boice Davenport.
