EDMESTON---Mrs. Clare L. Talbot,
80, died May 21, 1957, in Chase Memorial Hospital, New Berlin, after
a long illness.
She was born May 1, 1877, in New York City, a daughter of August
and Lena Amanda Weinhardt Wielage, She was married to Stuart Talbot
on Oct. 4, 1904. He died in January, 1937.
She was a member of Edmeston Second Baptist Church.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Thayer of Vestal,
Mrs. Alfred C. (Hilda) Ludington of Edmeston, Mrs. Henry (Margaret)
Parker of Fayetteville; a son, William D. Talbot of Glendale,
Calif.; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Gustav Wielage of New York City;
two sisters, Miss Emilie Wielage of New York City, and Mrs. William
Kiesel of Flushing, L. I.
The private funeral will be at the convenience of the family
tomorrow from Houk-Johnston Funeral Home here with the Rev. John
Karenko, Second Baptist Church pastor, officiating. Burial will be
in Edmeston Union Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
