Henry J. Seymour
MORRIS — Henry (Hank) J. Seymour, 79, of Morris, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1922, in Norfolk, Va., the son of Henry J. Seymour and Alice (Osborn) Seymour.
He married Virginia Richards on June 20, 1948, in Williston Park.
He was employed by the Griffith Air Force Base in Rome, as a mechanic and later as a quality control evaluator until his retirement in 1984.
Hank and his wife had resided in the Morris area for the past 31 years.
He was a past commander and charter member of the Morris VFW and was also a life member of the VFW. He was also a life member of the Morris American Legion Post.
His wife, Virginia, of Morris, three nieces and a nephew survive him.
He was predeceased by his brother and sisters, who were Harold Seymour, Mildred Seymour, Margaret Sauer and Lola Zinzer.
It was Hank's wishes that no calling hours or funeral services be held at this time. He was cremated at the Hillington Crematory in Morris and his cremains will be interred in Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton.
Friends are asked to donate to the Morris Emergency Squad in Hank's memory.
