HARTWICK---Dean Mack, 69, a long time resident of
Hartwick died at 9:30 a. m. June 8 at his Main Street home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at
Patterson Funeral Home, Hartwick. Burial will be in Hartwick
Cemetery.
Mr. Mack was born July 7, 1888 in the Town of New
Lisbon, son of William and Myrtle (Potter) Mack. He was twice
married. His first wife was Susie Shaul of Hartwick, who died in
1938. On July 10, 1946, he married Mrs. Laura Bowmaker of Hartwick.
In his early life he was a farmer in the town of
Hartwick and New Lisbon. For 11 years he was employed as custodian
of the local school, retiring in 1948.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, D. H.
Mack and two grandchildren, Robert and Katherine Mack, Hartwick;
and several cousins.
