MIDDLEFIELD — Minerva H. West, 94, of Edmeston died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002, in Middlefield.
She was born Sept. 10, 1907, in West Burlington, the daughter of Waldo and Ada (Talbot) Bennett, and spent her childhood in the West Burlington area.
Minerva was predeceased by her husband, Harold West, in 1966, as well as her three sisters and eight brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeannine and Dale Palmiter of Edmeston and Priscilla and Fred Frair of Newborn, Ga.; two grandchildren, David Parker of Danielsville, Ga., and Susan Docteur of Farmington; three great-grandchildren, Marc Docteur, Kaylee Parker and Matthew Parker; and two nieces, Norma Ramsey and Phyllis Whitten.
Minerva was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Berlin and the Episcopal Church of Women of West Burlington.
The funeral will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Berlin. The Rev. Charles Taylor will officiate.
The internment will be in Edmeston Union Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Berlin.
