GILBERTSVILLE — Mrs. Margaret Ann Whitehill of 786 Copes Corners Road in South New Berlin passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at Albany Medical Center.
Mrs. Whitehill was born April 13, 1950, in Oneonta, the daughter of Leon R. and Charlotte (McDonald) Lambert, Jr.
She married Henry Whitehill on May 17, 1969. They shared 32 years of marriage.
Mrs. Whitehill was a homemaker and spent most of her life in the area.
Survivors include her husband, Henry, of South New Berlin; her sons and their wives, Mark and Penny Whitehill of Portlandville, Sheldon and Traci Whitehill of Gilbertsville and Daniel and Korina Whitehill of Fort Knox, Ky.; her daughters and their husbands Julie and Eric Logan of South Kortright, Rachel and David Hamilton of Troy; her son, Leon Whitehill of Oneonta; her mother, Charlotte Augusta Lambert of Oxford; her sisters, Patricia Riggs, Diane Ireland, Elizabeth Palmer, Barbara Yaeger and Jeanette VanSteenburg; her brothers, Robert, David and Pete Lambert; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Joyce Funeral Home Inc. on Main Street in Unadilla.
The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., following visiting hours on Thursday at the Joyce Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Nelson Parks officiating.
Burial will take place in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Unadilla.
