Shove, Lulie Pattengill 1880-1930s Oneonta Obituary

Mrs. Henry Shove

Funeral services fro Mrs. Henry Shove, who passed away Tuesday evening about 11:45 o'clock at her home, 31 Valleyview street, will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Baptist church at Mr. Vision. Rev. George F. Adams, pastor of the Hartwick Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Shove family plot at Mt. Vision.
Lulie Pattengill was born in New Lisbon, April 29, 1880, a daughter of Edward
and Eliza Pattengill. Her early girlhood was spent in New Lisbon, where her
marriage to Attorney Henry Shove occurred in 1904. The couple moved to this
city about 30 years ago. Mrs. Shove was a member of the Rebekahs and order
of Eastern Star.
She was devoted to family and friends and held in high esteem by all.
Surviving are her husband and two children, John S. Shove of Albany and
Miss Ruth Shove of Oneonta; and one brother, Julius Pattengill of Oneonta.
The sympathy of many friends will be extended to them in their bereavement.
