Franklin, Nov. 20---Miss Carolyn Rhodes, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Rhodes, and Edson Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. James
Reid, both of Franklin, were married at a quiet home wedding at the
bride's home Sunday morning at 10 o'clock by the bride's pastor,
Rev. Meredith H. Dallman, pastor of the Congregational-Baptist
church.
The bride's attendant was her sister, Miss Genevieve
Rhodes, and the best man was Everett Goldsmith. The only guests were
the immediate families.
When Mr. and Mrs. Reid return from their wedding trip
to New York, they will be at home to their friends in their apartment
at the Reid farm home.
