New Lisbon Girl Hurt When Struck by Edmeston Auto

New Lisbon, May 11---Six-year-old Rose Mary Schmuck, daughter of Mrs. Mae Schmuck, was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when she ran across the state road directly into the path of a car driven by Leta Stevens of Edmeston.
The child had waited for two machines to pass and did not see the Edmeston car coming from the other direction. The child was thrown to one side as the machine struck her and the girl rolled off the concrete. The child was picked up in an unconscious condition and carried into her home. Dr. B. F. Bishop was summoned and he examined and treated the child. The girl suffered a dislocated shoulder, severe face and body lacerations and a possible fracture of one arm.
