Myron Charles Shultis
New Lisbon, Feb 8---Myron Charles Shultis, who died
at the Jefferson hospital Sunday night from blood poisoning, cause
from getting a sliver in one hand, was born at Yankeetown, Ulster
county, April 14, 1879. His parents were Eugene and Sarah Shultis.
When a young man he went to Delhi, where he made his home for several
years with his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Shultis. He went to Grand
Gorge about ten years ago, where he had since resided.
Mr. Shultis was never married. He was a member of
St. John's Episcopal church at Delhi.
The funeral was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N.
Miller at Grand Gorge Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The body was
placed in the local receiving vault.
His only surviving relatives are: One brother,
Vernon Shultis of Oakland, N. J., and five cousins, Mrs. Bertha
Robinson of Haddonfield, N. J., Mrs. Anna Conklin of Lew Beach,
Mrs. Otis Shultis of New Lisbon, Edward Redgate of Edmeston, Ill.,
and James Cooper of Chicago, Ill.
