Dies
at Garrattsville Home
New Lisbon, May 14---Mrs. Jennie H. Parker, 66, widow of Alvah
Parker, of Garrattsville, died at the family home at 4 this morning.
She had been ill since March 1.
Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 3.
Rev. L. Curtis Denny, rector of the Epoiscopal church at Morris, of
which Mrs. Parker was a member, will officiate, and burial will be
made in Union cemetery at Edmeston.
Mrs. Parker was born in New Lisbon, a daughter of Albert and Mary
(Newton) Harris. She was member of the Edmeston Eastern Star, the
Wharton Valley Grange at Edmeston, and the Home Betterment club,
Garrattsville.
Survivors, to whom friends will extend sympathy, are a son
Albert, Burlington Flats; a sister, Mrs. Edith Coman, Herkimer;
two grandchildren, Janice and Victor, Garrattsville; a brother,
Edwin Harris, Athol, Mass. A son, Lee died the same year as Mrs.
Parker's husband, 1936.
