"The death of Mrs. Julia Baker, which was briefly mentioned last week, occurred at the home of her son, Allen Brimmer, Sunday, March 13th, of pneumonia. She was born November 11, 1849, the only daughter of Allen and Clarissa (Baker) Gardner. She was born and lived all her life, excepting a few years spent at Milford, on the farm about one-half mile from where she died. In December she went to the home of her son, Allen, to spend the winter. She was married to Albert Brimmer October 10, 1867, and he died July 5, 1905. Three children were born to them: Clara, who died at the age of 5; Allen, who died three days after his mother, and Laselle, who survives. She also leaves four grandchildren Grace, Geneva, Albert and Jesse Brimmer. She later married Warren L. Baker of Milford, who died June 14, 1918 ... Burial was in the Welcome cemetery."
