GILBERTSVILLE — Betty Jane Cisotto, 68, of Gilbertsville passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at The Hospital in Sidney.
She was born Dec. 17, 1933, daughter of the late George and Pauline Alverson Travis in Walton.
Betty owned and operated Butternut Valley Adult Home in Gilbertsville for several years, she retired in May of 2002.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Veda and Robert Neish, Phoenix, and Lorri and Mark Kendrick, Sidney; two sons, Max Steinbacher, Norwich, and Eugene Steinbacher, New Jersey; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertrude and Raymond Bullis, Sidney, and Ramona and Ronald Peterson, Unadilla; brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Joan Travis, Hendersonville, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Tonya, Jessica and Gregg Neish, Rick, Matt, Chelsea Steinbacher and Mark Kendrick; and ex-husband of 32 years, Eugene Steinbacher, Kentucky.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gilbertsville or the Sidney emergency squads.
