Hartwick
Man Dies at 80
Hartwick—Funeral
services for William H. Tuller, 80, who died early yesterday morning
at his home on West Main Street, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday
at the Congregational-Christian Church, the Rev. Wendell Cobb,
pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. George Becker, D. D.,
pastor of the Methodist Church here. Burial will be in Hartwick
Cemetery.
Mr.
Tuller was born March 28, 1870, in Otego, son of Lyman and Susan
(Pashley) Tuller. He married Mrs. Lucinda D. Palmer Feb. 18, 1896,
at Hartwick. He had lived in Oneonta for ten years and had operated
a poultry farm for many years at Mount Vision before coming here five
years ago.
He
was a member of the Congregational-Christian Church here for 60 years
and had been a deacon and trustee at the time of his death.
Surviving besides his
wife are a step-daughter, Mrs. Lynn Washburn of Burlington Flats; a
granddaughter, Mrs. Donald Wallace of Oneonta; a great-grandson,
Richard Wallace; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Austin of Burlington Flats,
and Mrs. Mattie VanDeusen of Edmeston.
Friends may call at
the Patterson Funeral Home here until Saturday noon.
