NEW
LISBON---Ralph S. Stafford,
44, died September 20 (1961) , at Fox Hospital after a 28 month
illness.
Funeral services will
be 10 a. m. Saturday at the Houk-Johnston Funeral Home, Edmeston.
The
Rev. Wilfred Lyon, pastor of the Garrattsville Methodist church, will
officiate.
Burial will be in
Hillington cemetery, Morris.
He
was born July 15, 1917, in Pittsfield, the son of Frank and Elsie
(Stanhouse) Stafford.
He
married Lois Ward, in Garrattsville, June 12, 1949.
He
is a graduate of Morris Central School; he was a member of Local
1656 United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America; a
member of the Tienuderrah Lodge, F&AM, of Morris; Hillington
Chapter RAM; and the Garrattsville Methodist Church.
He
was a veteran of World War Two, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He
is survived by his wife; his mother; two brothers, Clarence,
Ticonderoga; James, Norwich; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Belcher,
Winter Park, Fla.; four uncles and two nieces.
Friends may call at
the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 Friday.
The
Tienderrah Lodge will hold a service at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
