Delivers Address to Senior Class

Morris, June 28---The auditorium of the Lewis Rutherfurd Morris Central school was filled to capacity Wednesday evening for the 40th annual commencement exercises. The class numbered 23 members, the same as last year.
Rev. Dr. C. E. Vermilya of the Methodist church gave the invocation. Miss Maryette Wallace followed with the salutatory address. A stirring commencement address was delivered by Dean Carl A. Kallgren of Colgate university; Miss Myrtle Webster was valedictorian. The program was interspersed with musical selections furnished by the High school Girls' sextet; the Boys' quartet and also by Kenraid Shields accompanied by Miss Eleanor Forristel, music instructor in the school.
Carl J. Smith, president of the board of Education, presented the diplomas to the graduates: Raymond Coates, Kenneth Cooke, Waneta Decker, Jack Downes, Helen Edgerton, Leonard Erickson, Margaret Fawcett, Robert George, Raymond Livingston, Ralph Lull, Pauline Mumbulo, John Schrull, Francis Smith, Lucy Smith, Virginia Smith, Vivian Stone, Orlo Tarbox, David Townsend, Maryette Wallace, Gertrude Walton, Mary Walton, Myrtle Webster, Zella Whiting.
