"MORRIS - Residents have received word that the Rev. Charles E. Vermilya, Methodist pastor of Morris and Garrattsville from 1930-1941, had died of a heart attack on February 2 at Penney Farms, Florida. The funeral was February 4 in First Methodist Church, St. Petersburg, Fla., and the body was cremated for commital in Hillington Cemetery, Morris."
